Meet Kevin Toms

I’m a proud native of Shelby, North Carolina, now settled in Suffolk, Virginia. Before becoming a life coach, I spent 22 incredible years in the United States Navy as an Engineman Chief Petty Officer. Those years taught me discipline, resilience, and the power of brotherhood—values I bring into every coaching relationship.

After retiring from active duty, I continued my commitment to service with five years as a government contractor and 13 years in government civil service. Along the way, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Logistics Management from Saint Leo University, strengthening my ability to guide others through complex challenges with steady leadership and practical strategy.

Service is at the heart of everything I do. I’m honored to serve as a Deacon at Ivy Baptist Church in Newport News, where faith, community, and compassion shape my approach to coaching and life.

At home, I’m blessed to share life with my wife, Tammi—we’re joyfully celebrating eleven years of marriage, both embracing the beauty of a second chance at love. I’m also a proud father to my daughter, Alecia, and a devoted grandfather to my energetic grandson, Branden. Family is my anchor, and I believe in helping men cultivate strong, healthy, and hope-filled relationships in their own homes.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll probably find me cycling through the city, casting a line on a quiet morning, or enjoying simple moments that remind me of what truly matters.
